I was lucky enough to have been invited to a day of filming for “The Scandalous Four“, a period drama being filmed at Sedgwick Park.
The production looked awesome, the manor house that it was being filmed in is just a stunning period building filled with the most ostentatious furniture and statues. The actors looked fantastic with excellent costume and performances, all in all I can’t wait for the film to come out!
Awoke far too early for a Saturday morning to head down to the West Pier. I’ve been helping some friends film Darkest Day, a Zombie movie.
They put the call out for zombie extras on Facebook, and Saturday morning the horde turned up. Plenty of gore and make-up later, and we had a group of shamblers ready to charge down the beach.
Saturday was one of the few days of the year that the tide goes far enough out to actually expose the west pier, so we ran down there and filmed in what is left of the first section of the pier. It’s not much more than a twisted metal cage now, but still fantastic.
